Winter Trofeo CONI in Piedmont from 15 to 17 December 2023

The Italian National Olympic Committee establishes and organises the Winter Trofeo CONI. The National Final of the second edition of the Winter Trofeo CONI will take place from 15 to 17 December 2023 in PIEDMONT – Turin, Pinerolo, Bardonecchia, Pragelato. The Swiss Delegation of CONI takes part in this trophy as a guest in the ALPINE SKIING discipline, with Slalom and Giant Slalom competitions (read the regulations). Delegate Cirano Tondi is in charge of selecting the young talents to form the delegation that will represent Switzerland (max. 4 girls and 4 boys). Parents who wish their children to take part can register at the following link: REGISTRATIONS OPEN >> Fill in the application form Registration deadline: Wednesday 30 November 2023, 23:59 COMPETITIONS The Swiss Delegation takes part in the sports event in the following discipline: ALPINE SKIING Participation is open to athletes in the Children Under 14 category, born in 2010/2011, f/m. Switzerland may take part in the Trofeo CONI with the following maximum numbers: 4 male athletes, 4 female athletes. One coach/chaperone is planned for every 4 participating athletes. The following competitions are scheduled on the mountains of Bardonecchia (TO) in Piedmont: SLALOM 2 runs – male category – female category GIANT SLALOM 1 run – male category – female category The official award ceremonies will take place on Sunday 17 December at the "Medal Plaza" of the Gianni Asti sports hall in Turin. PROGRAMME Friday 15 December 2023 07.00 - Meeting point: Zurich main station (HB) 07.20 - Departure by bus for Turin 12.30 - Arrival in Turin and lunch with CONI / Arrival of the regional teams 16.00 - Gathering of the teams at the Pala Gianni Asti - Viale Leonardo Bistolfi, 10 – Parco Ruffini (TO) 17.00 - Opening Ceremony of the Winter Trofeo CONI 2023 After the ceremony, transfer to the hotel: Villaggio Olimpico di Bardonecchia Viale della Vittoria 46 - 10052 Bardonecchia TO, Italy Saturday 16 December 2023 Sports competitions according to the official programme Sunday 17 December 2023 12.00 - Closing Ceremony of the Winter Trofeo CONI 2023 at the Pala Gianni Asti - Viale Leonardo Bistolfi, 10 – Parco Ruffini (TO) After the ceremony, return of the regional teams TRAVEL Depending on where the athletes live in Switzerland, the travel itinerary (departure/arrival point) can be adjusted to meet the needs of participants/parents. Transport bus for athletes, chaperones and any parents. Parents interested in joining the trip can register (limited places). HOTEL All athletes are guests of CONI; board and lodging are therefore covered by CONI, which will communicate in due time the name of the hotel where the athletes will stay. Parents who wish to attend must organise themselves independently.
