News · 05/31/2018

The press conference presenting the first National Sports Day Abroad was held on Wednesday 30 May 2018 at the Italian Consulate General in Zurich, in the presence of Consul Giulio Alaimo and the CONI Delegate for Switzerland Cirano Tondi. Together they presented the project to the press and to the representatives of COMITES and CGIE Switzerland. Also present was the current Italian-Swiss duathlon champion Valentina Rosamilia, who is currently number 1 in both Italy and Switzerland. Also attending were the managers of the Italian Food Festival and Pizzeria Napulè, who will join some of CONI's activities to celebrate, within the sports games, an all-Italian event.
The long-awaited appointment will therefore take place on Sunday 3 June 2018, when simultaneously in Italy, Switzerland, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, the USA and Venezuela, competitions and sports games of all kinds will kick off, with the aim of highlighting the importance of sport.
In Zurich, athletics competitions are scheduled for youngsters born between 2003 and 2010. For more information, please see the section dedicated to the event itself, where you will find all the details of the day: www.conisvizzera.ch/atletica
